SMR Cuenca Biography - Laia Falcón - Soprano

Media Critics and Profesional’s Reports

“It has very vividly surprised me the perfect vocal control and beautiful quality of sound of Laia Falcon, as well as her way of adapting the expressive possibilities of her voice and personality to so many different musical styles, whether Handel, Schubert and Kurt Weill. For me she is one of the few rising stars in the world of singers."

Hansjörg Schellenberger, (April 2009)

"I underline Laia Falcón's stage wisdom and her amazing musical power of expression.
Mirella Freni (Teatro alla Scala, Milan, April 2009)

"Laia Falcón has a perfect diction, an impeccable pronunciation, a safe and thorough vocal technic, a voice of rare beauty and, above all, the essential, an exquisite musicality. I remember her performance created a magical silence and emotional reaction of the audience. I think Laia Falcón is more than a promise: she is already an undeniable artist about whom you will hear a lot in near future."
José Luis Pérez de Arteaga (Spanish National Radio, January the 8th, 2011)

"Laia Falcon has a unique voice (…) with a charming and beautiful colour and exceptional quality to lead the audience into her own musical and scenic space ..."
Barbara Bonney (Théâtre du Châtelet, Paris, March 2005)
